Privacy is a core principle, not an afterthought. NorthStar is local-first: your raw career material stays on your machine and is never uploaded to us.
What we collect
For the website and courses, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email, and purchase history, so we can create your account, deliver what you bought, and send receipts.
What NorthStar collects
Effectively nothing about your content. The desktop app runs locally. The only network contact is a one-time licence activation, which verifies your key and binds it to your device.
How we use it
To provide and improve the service, process payments, send essential account and course emails, and, only if you opt in, occasional product updates.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only with the processors needed to run the service, such as a payment provider, and only what they need.
Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your account data, and opt out of non-essential email at any time from settings or via the unsubscribe link.
