Hi, I'm Alam.
I've spent 19+ years in UX, product and design leadership: designing products, building platforms, starting a design function from scratch, and leading teams. Smart cities, financial infrastructure, railway operations, gas distribution. The domain kept changing; the work underneath it didn't.
Now I work with AI every day, as a co-worker that does the legwork while I keep the judgment.
The work behind the numbers
I've built and owned products from zero to one, end to end: I pitched the idea, took responsibility for it, and saw it through to something real and lasting. That's how I know every stage of a product, not just the slice most people are handed.
A design system that ran six products for a decade, and kept running after I moved on. Work that had to hold up in the real world, not just in a portfolio.
Experience doesn't give you a fixed set of answers.
It gives you a better way to face the ones you haven't seen. That's the part I want to pass on.
Why I built Alamly
After 19+ years, I'd accumulated more than projects: patterns, ways into a problem, things I got wrong and things I saw work.
I kept seeing the same gaps in other people. Some had learned the tools but weren't sure how to approach the work. Others had years of experience they couldn't show. And plenty were using AI to produce more without deciding what was worth producing. So I built Alamly to put that experience to work: teach the thinking, build tools around it, and help organisations make better calls.
